Stylishly Inspiring Women in the Community

Meet this month's client feature, Dr. Jennie Bennett! Native Houstonian, Dr. Bennett is the founder of Reconstruction of a Survivor. This non-profit breast cancer organization takes pride in not only providing necessary support groups but also providing a strong educational curriculum to educate women about their diagnoses, treatment options, and how to experience a better quality of life after their diagnoses.

Dr. Bennett is always on-the-go to meetings, non-profit events, and spending time with her family! We love how she styled these 4 dresses to fit her daily needs! We sat down with our inspiring woman of the month and asked her a few questions- keep scrolling to learn a little more about our great friend and long-time client.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: "My style is business casual and casual. Since Covid, my style has become more casual."

Q: What's your go-to outfit and/or piece of clothing you can't live without?

A: "The outfit I can’t live without is a dress that can be dressed up or down."

Q: Any event you're looking forward to this year?

A: "I am looking forward to… Reconstruction of a Survivor Breast Cancer Organization’s 7th annual golf tournament benefiting women diagnosed with breast cancer. This event will allow us to financially help women in treatment…(who) are having financial challenges. The proceeds will also keep our free support group locations going. These groups are able to take women who come to us (from) hopeless-about-the-diagnosis of cancer, to hope. There is life after a diagnosis of breast cancer."

Q: Any local establishments you're loving right now? (restaurants, shopping, parks?)

A: "I am loving… Davis Street Restaurant at Herman Park. The food and service are excellent. I have known Chef Holley for about 20 years. I also love shopping at French Cuff Boutique. I enjoy taking a day trip to Galveston."
