A new season means it’s time for new trendy colors to enter the world of fashion! We’re already seeing magenta everywhere due to Pantone naming “Viva Magenta” as the color of the year but there are still more colors to expect this Spring. Pantone’s Color Trend Report identifies the key colors designers will include in their collections and this year's palette was all about trying something new and embracing a fearless approach to expressing ourselves in unexpected ways. Take a look at the palette below.

1. Orange You Glad
Add a dose of vitamin C to your wardrobe this year with orange! We’re seeing a wide range of the shade in fashion this season but the most prevalent is Pantone’s Tangelo, a tangy, enriched tint that brings forth a bright and cheery tone. Although vivid, this color is so versatile as it can be paired with many colors like blue, green, white, yellow, and our favorite, pink.
2. Think Pink
Pink is a yearly staple at FCB and it’s having a major moment in the fashion world as Pantone highlighted several versions of the shade on 2023’s New York Fashion Week Color Palette. Although pink itself is not a groundbreaking trend, it’s being styled in new and exciting ways. We’re seeing several shades of pink in the same look creating a chic, monochromatic vibe but we’re also seeing the shade in unique and refreshed color combos. The major combos on our radar are pink with green and pink with red.
Pink + Green
Pink and green are making their way into fashion this year and we cannot be more excited! Both colors are eye-catching and versatile and are perfect for warm weather. Whether it’s adding a fuschia accessory to your all-green getup or rocking a pink and green printed dress, you are guaranteed to stand out in this watermelon-colored combo.
Pink + Red
Another trending color combo you can expect to see this year is pink and red. That’s right, the trademark hues for Valentine’s day are sticking around a little longer. Pink and red paired together creates a playful yet powerful combination that will instantly elevate your style.
3. Lavender Haze
Unlike Pantone’s Viva Magenta, trend forecasting websites, WSGN and Coloro have officially named “Digital Lavender” 2023’s color of the year. It’s relaxing, charming, and classic yet lively when styled correctly. We’re seeing lavender on everything from floral dresses to structured blazers. Check out some of our favorite lavender styles below.
4. Pacific Ocean Blue
Last on our list is Pacific Ocean Blue. It’s a color that is calming and approachable yet more exciting than your traditional navy. The shade has the ability to take you from day to night and can easily mix and match with existing items in your closet. It’s also an excellent option for those who want to stay on trend but feel overwhelmed by the striking pinks and oranges.
